Golf:
Its 18 holes were inaugurated in 2000, and the course has been maintained to Four Seasons chain standards ever since. Since late 2010, it has been the Carmelo Golf Club course and the venue for PGA Uruguay and other tournaments. It has a Driving Range of more than 250 yards, a large hitting platform, approach greens, a Putting Green, and a Croquet court at the foot of the Club terraces. The Golf School operates year-round.
Polo:
Carmelo Polo Club, a member of the Uruguayan Polo Association since 2011, is based at Carmelo Golf. Its field, built under the direction of Eng. Alejandro Battro, offers the chance to enjoy the sport in a unique setting, just 60 km from Buenos Aires.
- The tournament season runs from October to April, featuring local, Argentine, and European polo players. The club has also formed an alliance with Polo Club de Chantilly (Paris) and Aix Pertuis (Aix en Provence).
- Tournaments, exhibitions, and a school operate year-round under the direction of Marcelo (Puma) Pizzorno, polo manager.
Club House:
With more than 700 m², it meets high quality standards. Its materials, design, and terraces overlooking the golf course provide a place to enjoy the sunset. Owners and guests can discover the dining options and gather with family, friends, or at corporate events.
Private beach:
A path through a pine forest leads to the white-sand beach, where visitors can enjoy the sunset over the river. It is ideal for relaxation and water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, and kayaking.
Port:
Access to the berths at Puerto Camacho, the gateway to Puerto Carmelo and a starting point for fishing, skiing, wakeboarding, and boat trips.
La Estancia:
The future location of the Carmelo Golf Lodge, it retains the typical style of a Uruguayan country estate. It has a bar, restaurant, lounges, changing rooms, tennis courts, and a swimming pool overlooking the polo field.
Villas del Golf:
The master plan provides for two areas for the construction of condominiums overlooking the driving range, surrounded by mature Tannat grape vineyards.
Plots:
- Carmelo Golf has large plots ranging from 1,700 to 4,700 m².
- The project is designed to suit each client’s preferences: plots facing the Polo field, the Golf course, a body of water with a private dock, or a wooded area in the middle of a forest.
- It also has a 4,200 m² macro-lot where a hotel is planned.
Subdivision infrastructure:
- Telephone and internet: the entire subdivision has telephone conduits for connecting to cable internet. The internet provider is Antel, which provides good service.
- Electricity: all plots have underground electrical connections.
- Television: options are Directv or Carmelo cable. Both options are over the air.
- Water: there is a well in the community, from which water is distributed to all houses.
- Gas: gas tanks.
Beach activities:
Various options are available, including kayaking, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and stand-up paddleboarding. Those bringing a motorboat can also go skiing or visit unique beaches in the Delta.
