Polo:
Carmelo Polo Club, a member of the Uruguayan Polo Association since 2011, is based at Carmelo Golf. Its field was built under the direction of Ing. Alejandro Battro and is just 60 km from Buenos Aires.
The tournament season runs from October to April, bringing together local, Argentine, and European polo players. It has also established an alliance with Polo Club de Chantilly (Paris) and Aix Pertuis (Aix en Provence).
Year-round activities: tournaments, exhibitions, and a school led by Marcelo (Puma) Pizzorno, polo manager.
Club House:
With more than 700 m², it meets high quality standards. Its materials, design, and terraces overlooking the golf course provide a place to enjoy dining options, family gatherings, get-togethers with friends, and corporate events.
Private beach:
A path through a pine forest leads to the white-sand beach, where you can enjoy sunsets over the river. It is ideal for relaxation and water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, and kayaking.
Port:
Access to the moorings at Puerto Camacho, the gateway to Puerto Carmelo and a starting point for fishing, skiing, wakeboarding, and boat trips.
La Estancia:
The Carmelo Golf Lodge will operate there. It retains the typical style of a Uruguayan country estate and has a bar, restaurant, lounges, changing rooms, tennis courts, and a pool overlooking the polo field.
Villas del Golf:
The master plan provides for two areas for condominium construction overlooking the driving range, surrounded by mature Tannat grapevines.
Lots:
Carmelo Golf has lots ranging from 1,700 to 4,700 m². The project offers options overlooking the polo field, the golf course, or a body of water with a private dock, as well as lots beneath a leafy canopy in the forest. It also has a 4,200 m² macrolot where a hotel is planned.
Subdivision infrastructure:
- Phone and internet: the entire subdivision has conduits for cable internet connections. Antel is the provider.
- Electricity: all lots have underground electrical connections.
- Television: options are Directv or Carmelo cable. Both are received over the air.
- Water: there is a well in the community, from which water is distributed to all houses.
- Gas: gas tanks.
Beach activities:
Various options include kayaking, windsurfing, kitesurfing, and stand-up paddleboarding. Those bringing a motorboat can also go skiing or visit unique beaches in the Delta.
